This Privacy Policy explains our data collection, processing, storage, and retention practices in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and other applicable data privacy regulations.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide job matching, resume analysis, and recruitment services:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, authentication credentials, and user role.
  • Candidate Profiles: Resume documents (PDF), extracted work experience, skills, college/education history, CGPA, target cities, and job categories.
  • Recruiter Data: Company name, official contact details, job listings, and hiring requirements.
  • Transactional Data: Payment transaction identifiers, subscription status, plan durations, and billing records (processed via PCI-DSS compliant partner PayU; we do not store full card numbers or CVVs).
  • Usage & Telemetry: Log data, browser headers, IP addresses, and interaction metrics to safeguard against abuse and optimize system performance.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal information for specific, lawful purposes:

  • To match candidate resumes with job openings and calculate match scores.
  • To transmit applications to recruiters when candidates explicitly choose to apply.
  • To enforce plan usage quotas and verify subscription entitlements.
  • To detect, prevent, and remediate platform abuse, spam, and security vulnerabilities.
  • To communicate transactional alerts, account verifications, and customer support responses.

4. Access Controls & Disclosure

Candidate profile details and resumes are only accessible to verified recruiters when the candidate has actively submitted an application to that recruiter’s job posting. We do not sell or rent personal information to third-party data brokers or marketing networks.

5. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Your data is stored in secured databases with encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We enforce Row Level Security (RLS) and strict identity verification on all database queries. Data is retained for as long as your account remains active or as required by statutory record-keeping obligations.

6. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023

As a data principal, you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of your personal data processed by the platform.
  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate personal data.
  • Request erasure of your resume, profile data, or entire account.
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing operations.
